Fire Sweeps Through New Delhi Shantytown

India has a well known problem with crumbling infrastructure and few enforced architectural specifications. As the global middle class continues to grow countries like India will have to find affordable and safe ways of housing their majority shares of humanity. It can be an opportunity with targeted stimulus like we need here in America…


Hundreds of huts were gutted following a fire that swept through a New Delhi slum, known as a scrapyard for plastic goods. No casualties were reported.
