Post from Thomas P.M. Barnett’s blog linking to a WSJ piece about this year’s Non-Aligned Conference which Iran was hoping to use for a bit of geopolitical posturing.

It’s encouraging to see Morsi, and presumably the Muslim Brotherhood, siding with the freedom fighters in Syria. Egypt may not have a secular government but they seem to have a state that is committed to legitimate government. This is further good news following Morsi’s successful power struggle with the Egyptian military.
